Medilink East Midlands has now been serving the East Midlands life science community for 15 years!
On Friday, September 20, current and former Medilink EM staff and board members gathered to celebrate the achievements and look to the future of the region’s life science industry association, whose aim is to help companies establish, develop and grow.
Medilink EM’s network of more than 4,000 contacts in over 700 organisations represents all aspects of the life sciences sector, including private and public institutions; from multinationals to high potential start-ups, as well as the NHS and universities.
Medilink East Midlands is a founding member of Medilink UK; a national network supporting over 3,000 companies across the entire UK. Medilink provides specialist support to boost the region’s economic output from life sciences by overcoming barriers to growth. The evening was a chance for current and former staff and board members to come together and reflect on the achievements and progress of Medilink East Midlands, throughout its 15 years of operation. Current Chairman Keith Widdowson also spoke on his time in the role for the majority of Medilink EM’s existence and spoke of his high hopes for the future of the company.
